Tax Analyst
Job Purpose and Impact
The Tax Analyst, individual contributor working on Singapore Tax compliance matters (direct & indirect taxes) and provide assistance to team members and country tax managers on Moderate to complex issues, Communication to business on changes in tax laws and their implications to businesses, and Other process improvement initiatives.
In this role, Candidate will be supporting the Singapore region and Previous experience with Singapore Tax is an added Advantage. This role needs to support APAC region hence the shift timing is 6.30am to 3.30PM
Key Accountabilities
- Manage GST and WHT related Compliances for Singapore Legal Entities
- Review of RTR Workings and Preparation and finalizing GST Return and guiding RTR Team for correction entry in JDE/ SAP.
- Prepare Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) Filing documents and Tax Organizer.
- Tax return preparation and filing, and other tax compliance work.
- Check and review balance sheet reconciliations and support in statutory audits in relation to tax related disclosures and tax calculations.
- Prepare Collate and analyze information and documents for computation and return preparation purposes, assistance with tax audits and tax programs) as per statutory deadlines in the areas of Withholding Tax (“WHT”), Goods and Services Tax (“GST”), and Corporate Taxes.
- Provide support in relation to Transfer Pricing documentation and assistance with information and documentation requests from related parties. Preparation of intercompany service agreements.
- Preparation and submission of relevant U.S. Tax Schedules for Singapore legal entities
- Provide ad-hoc support in case of GST/ tax audits (Internal and External audits).
- Understand the implications of changes in tax legislation for Singapore from business point of view and incorporate such changes in ERP
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- CA with 3+Years of Experience in Indirect tax(GST) or MBA/Any Finance background resource with 7+years of rich experience in Indirect Tax(GST) end
- Experience in tax accounting, tax advisory or tax auditing
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
