Director, Application Development & Process Automation
Job Purpose and Impact
The Process Implementation Associate Director will develop and execute portfolio and project management strategies to promote and maintain processes, data and technology. In this role, you will partner with the talent and performance team to build project management capabilities in the organization and leverage the portfolio and project management toolkit throughout the organization and the project management community of practice.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to drive the organization's project investment portfolio, identifying data metrics and analysis across the spectrum of projects to measure the effectiveness of the program and portfolio management system.
- Provide insight and influence to the design and implementation of portfolio and project management technology to maintain a technology design that is aligned with common processes across the organization to minimize tailoring unique solutions for each group or business.
- Partner with global information technology to develop and deploy a management of change process for any changes needed to technology design and drive the deplo9yment of technology solutions throughout global information technology.
- Drive the deployment of strategies that ensure effective execution of our processes.
- Provide external benchmarking across the spectrum of portfolio and program management processes and develop and execute improvements to the processes based on industry knowledge.
- Lead continuous improvement strategies and update all content related to portfolio and project management and project delivery processes for common project type templates.
- Monitor the effectiveness of facilitator training and lead the portfolio management process to keep it sustainable and be sure to identify, develop and deploy facilitated workshops that add value.
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree with minimum of 14 years of experience in business or related industry
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency and direct project and program management experience including portfolio and project management process knowledge
- Experience leading and managing projects with change management elements.
- Configuring or building applications in a product environment
- Should have experience completing multiple (at least 3 or more) full application lifecycle/deployments.
- Strong functional expertise in the area of Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Transporation included). It is critical to being a good business partner to have a strong business capability foundation with proven experience. Ideal candidates could come from Business Partnering roles or as members or managers of supply chain planning teams / COEs.
- Understanding of software/UX design principles, software development best practices, OOP principles, low code/no code platform extensions, architectural patterns for systems integration in package heavy environments.
- Artificial intelligence & Machine learning including python coding.
- Demonstrable agentic AI development experience incl prompt engineering.
