Sr. Technical Specialist
Job Purpose and Impact
The Sr. Technical Specialist will assess needs and actively provide technical solutions and support to customers with significant business impact. In this role, you will develop the specialty business by offering innovative technology, recommendation and products to a large category organization. You will coordinate with business groups sales and commercial teams to identify and acquire new business with potential customers. You will collaborate with teams to manage a broad portfolio involving projects requiring new application technology.
Key Accountabilities
• Provide commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments.
• Support strategic marketing technology and food or product safety quality and regulatory to develop and proof new products.
• Seek solutions to issues using deep knowledge in one or more field and wide knowledge across multiple specialties.
• Work independent or together with internal partner to perform complex research for product / solution development to understand product properties and systems operations.
• Coordinate prototyping and co-development capability working with other R&D team member (PPD, application, sensory)
• Independently solve complex tasks with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Organize project data and conclusions for internal and customer presentations, assist with product demonstrations and service as subject matter guide during meetings with prospective customers.
• Bring and build strong customer relationships from a technical perspective in conjunction with other peer connections with customers (sales, marketing, supply chain).
• Provide customer solutions and technical support materials to customers in response to their expressed needs.
• Utilize solid expertise on manufacturing and domain ingredient knowledge to provide on-site support, trouble shooting and enhance applications know how.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in Bakery
• Business level English
• Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with frozen bakery.
• Experience with B2B ingredients business
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, learning ability, and agility
