This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. 


Key Accountabilities

  • Control and monitoring of production processes, machines and systems as well as maintaining the necessary documentation in a fully continuous 4-shift system
  • Repairing system faults within the scope of possibilities and own responsibility as well as proactively identifying possible safety risks
  • Observing and evaluating important system parameters and trends
  • Communicating with production and management about process analyses and adjusting system parameters within the specified limits or beyond after consultation with the shift manager/production manager
  • Carrying out quality analyses for quality assurance
  • Controlling the process for raw material, auxiliary material and energy consumption
  • Maintenance and cleaning of system components
  • Compliance with all occupational safety, food safety, environmental protection and health regulations

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed vocational training as in food technology, chemical or equivilant technical training
  • Ideally, experience in PLC-controlled production systems
  • Resilience, commitment and good cooperation with colleagues
  • Good German and ideally basic knowledge of English
