This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. 


Job Purpose and Impact

Utility Supervisor will implement and execute production for multiple Utility Process Technologies in a food production plant. We seek a professional to ensure responsibilities meet standards for safety, food quality, efficiency and financial performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor and provide guidance on all aspects of the overall operational management of plant utilities.
  • Administer production budget for a department, process or shift.
  • Monitor deliverables to ensure customer and product/quality standards are met within specifications.
  • Execute day-to-day operations, ensuring direct reports follow policies and procedures related to employee safety and food/feed safety.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and/or other equivalent areas.

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of directly related work experience

  • Minimum Upper-intermediate level of English

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of supervisory experience

  • Experience with CI processes
