Job Purpose and Impact

The Sr. Engineer- SAP Full Stack will be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, debugging, and implementing SAP ABAP applications. You are expected to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions to customers, while adhering to development standards and methodologies. In this role, you will be a member of an agile engineering team and will discover and deliver solutions to complex problems to enable the company's digital future.

Key Accountabilities

  • In depth knowledge of SAP ABAP/4 programming using BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Workflow, LSMW, Reports, SAPScript, writing user exits, BDC coding, and interfaces. Designing and implementing workflows to automate business processes.

  • Support RICEF objects, Fiori apps, and B2B integrations (SOAP, IDOC, OData).

  • The SAP ABAP Developer should possess strong application development and system integration skills.

  • Experience in Fiori Design patterns, expertise in UI Theme designer.

  • Design, develop, and enhance SAP business applications using ABAP on the backend and SAP Fiori/UI5 for the frontend.

  •  Build and extend existing Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP modules (e.g., FICO, SD, MM) by analyzing root causes and implementing effective solutions.

  • Experience with Fiori/UI5 is highly desirable.

  • Enhance the user experience (UX) by designing intuitive and responsive Fiori/UI5 applications, incorporating Fiori Elements and smart controls.

  •  Leverage BTP services to develop and deploy cloud-based applications and extensions.

  • Support ongoing development, implementation, and quality checks for existing projects/applications.

  • Participate in peer code reviews and learn and adapt to the company's engineering and development practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Confirmed experience automating pipelines for continuous integration, testing, delivery and security
  • Confirmed experience architecting applications, databases, services or integrations
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an SAP developer or a similar role with a focus on SAP S/4, ECC, BW, SOLMAN, FIORI, GRC
  • Strong, well-rounded knowledge of SAP full life cycle implementations and SAP concepts / capabilities
  • Proficient in ABAP, EDI management, and SAP modules.
  • Proficiency in SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience working in Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance and support projects
  • Experience of Designing, coding, and modifying SAP applications to meet specific requirements.
  • Strong background in SAP Gateway and OData services
  • SAP Certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and BTP is a plus.
