Job Purpose and Impact

The SAP Associate Engineer will participate in the development and support of new and existing digital solutions for the digital portfolio. In this role, you will be a member of an agile engineering team and will discover and deliver solutions to basic problems to enable the company's digital future.

Key Accountabilities

  • Developing custom reports using ABAP, CDS Views, ODATA.
  • Building interfaces for data exchange with other systems using APIs, IDocs, and other integration technologies.
  • Designing and implementing workflows to automate business processes.
  • Support RICEF objects, Fiori apps, and B2B integrations (SOAP, IDOC, OData).
  • Develop custom ABAP programs and troubleshoot SAP-related issues.
  • Experience with integration technologies and methodologies for ECC, including IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and ALE.
  • Collaborate with the team to adopt agile philosophies, participate in agile ceremonies and help to identify improvements.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and learn and adapt to the company's engineering and development practices.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an SAP developer or similar role with a focus on SAP S/4, ECC.
  • Proficient in ABAP, EDI management, and SAP modules.
  • Experience with Python, HTML5, JAVA etc. particularly in web portal management.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP environments.
  • SAP Certification is a plus.
