Job Purpose and Impact

Can you imagine being at the heart of building and delivering the future digital backbone of the Food enterprise at Cargill? Join one of the Food industry’s largest ERP transformation programs and use your talent for driving strategic transformation programs in the Digital Technology & Data Team with high exposure across the global Cargill organization. 

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Solutions Manager with extensive experience in managing large-scale digital transformation projects, particularly within the Food Solutions industry. This role demands an individual who can seamlessly bridge the gap between business requirement and solution design. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and stakeholder management skills, capable of guiding a large global team to success.
You will be driving operational excellence towards a stable and optimized delivery framework and work with continuous improvement of Digital Technology & Data service.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement target ERP, SAP S4 Hana, strategic roadmap on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with the enterprise's strategic planning process and business strategy. 

  • Partner collaboratively with the product owners and managers within the enterprise to ensure integration to the digital footprint and connect business value driven use cases to requirements of a digital foundation.

  • Supervise a multi-skilled team performing standard to advanced and highly complex programming, coding and documentation of systems and applications software.

  • Provide broad oversight and advise supervisors and staff in technical software testing and debugging of systems and software applications, as needed.

  • Perform ERP Portfolio and Financial stewardship, including rationalizing the ERP application footprint within the assigned portfolio, ensuring value creation, while managing the digital investment across the assigned ERP application spend.

  • Provide leadership to grow team capabilities, drive team goals and prioritize team resources in alignment with business requirements.

  • Lead communications with business and function partners across the company to uncover business needs and deliver optimal solutions.

  • You will develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business and/or regulatory environment while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, exhibiting authority for talent management decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also coordinate subordinate managers and supervisors in selecting staff to align with current and future needs of the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience

  • Five years of supervisory management experience

  • Eight years of experience in ERP (SAP S4 Hana or Oracle) Application Solutions

  • 10 years of experience in technology design or process design teams and environments

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, scalable, and global development environments, and transformational ERP initiatives, preferably SAP S4 Hana, across multiple process areas.
