Job Purpose and Impact

The Digital Tech and Data (DT&D) Early Career Program Lead  job guides the creation of effective and engaging learning experiences for the Technology Development Program, focused on early career employees at Cargill’s tech hubs globally. As a recognized subject matter expert in learning and development design, this job designs, implements, and continuously improves early career programsincluding internships and rotational assignmentsensuring these experiences are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with DT&Dgoals. This job applies instructional design principles, technologies and digital tools to guide the design, development and implementation of measurable and scalable experiences that drive performance focused employee skill development.

Key Accountabilities

  • Guides the design and development of highly complex learning experiences for the organization, ensuring the organization's learning and development strategies drive performance impact by supporting the evaluation of organization strengths and weaknesses to identify learning objectives, reviewing current learning and development programs, identifying and analyzing performance impacts, and incorporating improvements.
  • Develops and deploys learning and development design strategies, methodologies, tools, approaches and processes for the organization's professional employees to identify high potential talent, facilitate discussions, provide top talent view, and deliver overall learning and development insights to critical partners.
  • Administers learning and development design programs, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, use of multimedia content, and effectiveness of quality assurance checks to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Ensures application of instructional design principles and methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences including learning events, workshops, and demo days to build technical skill, business acumen, and leadership skills among program participants.
  • Partners collaboratively with other subject matter authorities and stakeholders, such as DT&D Engineering leaders and Talent Acquisition, to provide thought leadership on content and materials and ensure accuracy and alignment with DT&D strategies & objectives.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments, feedback and metrics, and partners with the related team to continuously resolve opportunities to enhance the learning experience bringing best practices, industry trends and user feedback into future design iterations. Tracks and reports on program metrics, participant progress, and outcomes. Use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate program impact.
  • Partners with key vendors and stakeholders to stay updated on the latest learning approaches, technologies, tools and methodologies, and identifies opportunities to integrate them into program design and delivery, including learning management systems, authoring tools and other technology platforms to create and deliver content.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 6+ years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in program design and delivery, facilitation, event and project coordination, stakeholder management, continuous improvement, technology aptitude, and cultural alignment.
  • Experience designing and executing global early career programs, with a strong understanding of regional talent strategies.
  • Proven project management experience, with the ability to lead complex initiatives within a global organization.
