This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. 


Job Purpose and Impact

The Supply Chain Representative and Super User is responsible for planning and executing in SAP the inbound of raw materials and packaging; purchase and subcontracting orders; stock allocation to sales orders and creation of outbound delivery; sourcing, planning and coordinating transportation; administrative activities and validation of invoices for payment to vendors; and, stocks control and reconciliation of data with vendors.

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute inventory entries, control and outbound actions in SAP.
  • Ensure stock is available to satisfy customer orders according to sales forecast.
  • Control slow movers and obsolete goods and risk of them, escalating the need for taking action to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Generate and execute cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan entries.
  • Participate in handling network inventory in accordance with set inventory planning metrics targets.
  • Contribute to inventory plans for assigned product or location into the planning process.
  • Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain or equivalent experience

  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

  • Strong knowledge on the functional process and system (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of supply chain experience

  • Knowledge of DAX or equivalent and Data visualization tools i.e. Tableau, Power BI etc.
