This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Supply Chain Planning Specialist will be mainly responsible for the sonsolidation and coordination of the demand/supply plan for the products that are sourced out of the region. Role will work closely with local PLM and GTM teams as well as global supply chain teams while coordinating the supply flow and highlight any risk/gap vs pre-aligned plans and budget numbers. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate the company's cross functional work teams to meet high customer service standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Create requirements plan and long term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
- Participate in the creation of inventory planning metrics targets.
- Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.
- Coordinate the latest available demand/supply plan with local GTM/PLM teams and regional/global supply chain planning teams.
- Generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in demand and supply planning
- Ability to manage cross functional collaborations
- Advanced level of English both written and verbal
