Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply Chain Supervisor will contribute to optimizing supply chain operations by ensuring seamless logistics and inventory management. In this role, you will be the primary communication focal between Amurang and CTO Supply Chain Team. You are responsible in ensuring continuous vessel operation, managing the implementation of the slot booking application for inbound trucks, facilitating the IWEX meeting, management of Trade Execution professionals, and the tracking the supply chain metrics.
Key Accountabilities
- Plans and coordinates vessel movements with origination team to ensure sufficient stock at Cargill Plants. Regularly provides an assessment of vessel capacity vs requirements together with origination and Cargill Transportation & Logistic (CTL) for contracting and to mitigate any potential vessel shortages.
- Responsible for the management of the log sheet supply planning
- Monitors the activities related to vessel movements and provide regular updates on vessel status and estimated arrival dates with supply planner, supply chain, plant as well as origination team.
- Ensure continuous vessel operation based on consumption trends and projected demands. Works with Trade Execution (TE) to raise fuel order in a timely manner. Analyze order pattern to see opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Lead and supervise trade execution professionals that handle relevant contract desk procedures to ensure efficient execution,
- Provides the latest status on inbound & outbound shipments to Supply Planner.
- Leads the Integrated Weekly Execution (IWEX) together with Supply Chain, Commercial, and the Plant Team (FSQR, Production, and Terminal Operations) for Indonesia.
- Acts as the primary communication focal between Amurang and CTO Supply Chain Team. Facilitates effective communication and collaboration between teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze logistics & supply chain metrics which include vessel performance (sailing days, timely arrival, etc.), fuel consumption, shrinkage, cost data tracking and On-Time In-Full OTIF delivery goals.
- Participate in the creation of inventory planning metrics targets. Manage inventory levels in line with the business goals. Track, communicate and deliver monthly inventory performance and year-end projections.
- Plan and coordinate all other shipment modes including flexibag, isotank and container shipments. Collaborate with Commercial, CTL, GTOC, CSSP and Logistics Team to ensure smooth coordination and execution of shipments.
- Ensures effective and efficient implementation of slot booking tool for inbound trucks to Cargill plants.
- Execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned product, packaging materials or location, using the approved supply plan inputs from Supply Planner.
- Actively provide inputs and feedback in contract reviews of vendors to get best value for the business.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Support any work required to create costed scenarios for decision making that is supported by assumptions that is aligned to business plans.
- Identify and/or support continuous improvement opportunities for both process and cost. Drive implementation/change management to deliver value and improve performance in the supply chain process.
- Ensures that master data in planning tools are timely updated.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, supply chain, engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in supply chain from copra business or industry would be beneficial.
- Experienced supply chain management, well versed in any of these areas: inventory management and logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Any of the Supply Chain Certification - APICS CPIM, CSCP
- Experience in project management, ERP implementation, new startup process and system readiness
- Knowledgeable in lean six sigma or have experience leading a continuous improvement project driving cost reduction, cost savings or process efficiency
