Job Purpose and Impact
The EMEA Associate Buyer Maintenance Technical and Facility Services will handle basic country or multicounty sourcing routine activities. In this role, you will coordinate and execute low to medium complex procurement activities, support high-value sourcing events lead by category buying team, execute contracting and supplier management activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute low and medium complex procurement activities
- Prepare and maintain supplier contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support senior category buyers in the execution of sourcing initiatives and key supplier events.
- Drive implementation of local sourcing decisions and support local implementation of regional sourcing decisions.
- Provide data analysis and support to the category buying team for category strategy development and sourcing activities execution.
- Build and apply a comprehensive understanding of local, stakeholder and procurement landscape. Work with locations to resolve issues with Suppliers
- Follow established procurement procedures to select suppliers of non contracted and non managed services.
- Administer transactions associated with obtaining services.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Maintain accurate procurement reporting and documentation, including performance metrics, managed spend, sourcing activities and other procurement KPIs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceFluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Able to travel 10% of the time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience
- Experience working with suppliers or third-parties
- Knowledge of additional languages (such as French, German, or Dutch)
