Camp Hill Protein Processing Plant

Located in the Harrisburg-Carlisle Metropolitan Area, which is home to over 647,000 residents, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania is a key location in Cargill’s growing protein network. Formerly operated by Vantage Foods and now owned by Ahold, the Camp Hill facility was acquired by Cargill in 2020, expanding our case-ready meat operations in the Northeast.

This advanced case-ready protein facility produces up to 2 million pounds of beef and pork products per week, serving major grocery retailers such as Giant-Carlisle in Pennsylvania and Giant-Landover in Maryland. With a workforce of approximately 800 employees, the Camp Hill plant plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, ready-to-sell protein products to consumers across the region.
