Why is employee well-being a priority at Cargill?
At Cargill, we believe people do their best work when they feel supported. That's why we're committed to helping employees thrive both at work and in their personal lives. Our employees work in many different environments around the world, from production facilities and farms to offices and customer-facing roles. When employees feel healthy, supported, and able to bring their best selves to work, everyone benefits
What well-being resources have made the biggest impact for employees?
Employees consistently tell us they value support that is accessible, easy to use, and available when it matters most. We've received positive feedback about our expanded Employee Assistance Program and emotional well-being resources, which provide confidential support for employees and eligible family members. Employees also appreciate having a more personalized digital benefits experience that helps them better understand and access available resources. Just as importantly, employees tell us they value working for a company that prioritizes their well-being. In our most recent employee engagement survey, 86% of employees agreed that their safety, health, and well-being is a top priority for Cargill.
What's one thing you're most proud of when it comes to well-being at Cargill?
I'm most proud of the progress we've made in expanding access to support for employees around the world. Over the past year, we've strengthened emotional well-being resources, enhanced our Employee Assistance Program, and continued improving how employees access benefits and well-being information. The real impact isn't the programs themselves. It's knowing more employees and families can access support when they need it most.
