Wyalusing Protein Processing Plant
With approximately 1,200 employees, Wyalusing has been home to Cargill since 2002 and was formerly the Taylor Packing Company, established in 1941. The facility processes around 1,500 head of cattle per day and operates 3 shifts a day, with first shift for Production and Case Ready/Grinding, second shift for Case Ready/Grinding, and Sanitation on second and third shift.
The employees of Cargill Wyalusing are known for their significant, positive impact on the surrounding community by donating their time and money to numerous organizations such as United Way, American Red Cross, March of Dimes and local fire and ambulance services.
