Trade Analyst

Job Purpose and Impact
We are looking for a Trade Analyst to join the Sales Operations & Enablement team and support the sales organization by delivering analyses, business recommendations, and developing tools that facilitate decision-making. The person in this role will act as a business partner to sales teams by monitoring sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending appropriate actions.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare business analyses to support decision-making by sales teams and sales management.
- Develop recommendations to improve sales effectiveness, maximize market opportunities, and support the growth of individual sales channels.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and analytical tools that support the commercial organization.
- Identify trends, business opportunities, and areas requiring corrective actions.
- Support the management and development of the customer portal and other digital solutions that support sales activities.
- Assist in managing processes related to the calculation and settlement of sales promotions.
- Support the calculation and administration of incentive and bonus programs for sales teams.
- Collaborate with various departments across the company on data analysis and sales process optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or commercial process support roles.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, particularly Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Good knowledge of BI tools (Tableau and/or Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations.
- Ability to present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of KNIME.
- Experience in the animal feed, premix, or agri-food industry.
- Experience managing or supporting sales platforms and customer portals.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and B2B sales processes.
