Job Purpose and Impact

The Corporate Capital Data and Analytics Lead -Remote is the subject matter expert responsible for the quality implementation and effective use of the workflow design in Cargill’s Build Template Technology solutions.  They will work with capital excellence leaders to create individualized plans that ensure high data quality and effective reporting.  This position will partner and work as an integrated team with the PPM COE, the Corporate Capital Excellence team, EHS, and capital excellence teams globally to maintain technology design solutions that are in alignment with Project Delivery Process - Build Template for Cargill. 

The Corporate Capital Data and Analytics Lead will ensure that the technology solutions are integrated seamlessly with the Build Template.  This position will work closely with Build Template users to deploy, assess, train, and support these teams to ensure consistent understanding and use of the technology solutions.  This position will identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the technology solutions for Build Template enhancements. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Integrate and apply technology tools in alignment with capital excellence practices into build project management, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Leverage new and existing technology tools to assess build project performance of specialized capital excellence aspects and identify gaps and practical solutions and implement performance improvements.
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in Build Template technology usage used in capital project management and reporting.
  • Continually coach Build Template technology users so that Cargill’s technology solutions are utilized effectively.
  • Work with MyPPM, Enablon, Tableau, Power BI and SharePoint to ensure data quality, project management best practices, and enable more efficient project management in alignment with the company’s project delivery process.
  • Work directly with the PPM COE members, PMs, BPMs, and Safety resources to leverage resources, knowledge and strategies that increase value captured throughout the portfolio of capital projects.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to work across the organization and multiple functions
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Information Technology project management
  • Experience with Build Project Document Management (BPDM) SharePoint solution
  • Experience with MyPPM (Clarizen), Enablon, Tableau, and PowerBI
  • Process build project performance of specialized capital excellence aspects and identify gaps and practical solutions.
  • Understand and ensure aspects of capital excellence are incorporated into build projects.
  • Experience with SharePoint as a Site Collection Administrator or other experience managing data security
  • Lean six sigma
