Job Purpose and Impact

  • Trade Compliance Project Coordinator will be responsible for process transformation, implementation of tools and knowledge transfer to ensure implementation of new business processes. Collaborate and build good relationships with representatives of various departments within the organization.
  • The processes described above are related to business transformation in the finance department in the areas of customs, export, import and international trade. Cargill has established a Global Center of Excellence department that will be fully dedicated to commodity trading activities in compliance with trade regulations.
  • The role is temporary position for 18 months contract (with high probability to converted to permanent).

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure alignment of changes and transformation activities across regions and countries with the global transformation strategy;
  • Monitor progress and provide timely status updates to the project team;
  • Analyze process activities to determine the scope and approach to process transformation, including knowledge transfer, activity analysis and documentation strategies;
  • Oversee the development and implementation of documentation at the regional and national levels;
  • Collaborate with process leaders and experts to define specific business requirements for processes, support the development and implementation of their structure within the organization, promote best practices and ensure consistency across functions;
  • Develop and conduct training on transition activities and approved change control processes;
  • Solve moderately complex problems independently with minimal supervision, while delegating more complex issues to appropriate staff.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree (project management, import, export);
  • Minimum two years of work experience in a similar position;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management in the area of import, export and customs;
  • Orientation and knowledge of issues related to regulations related to trade in goods;
  • Knowledge of import and export trade regulations;
  • Experience in the use of relevant software tools for process management;
  • Practical experience in process mapping and conducting workshops;
  • Good work organization and communication skills;
  • Fluent English
