Associate Sensory Scientist
Job Purpose and Impact
The Associated Sensory Scientist, will support and execute sensory test with trained panel to deliver sensory commitments and provide product insights. In this role, you will help define requirements for method establishment and deploy the training to build the sensory capability for R&D and FSQR
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct sensory related work in a laboratory complex including sample preparation, panel management, sensory data collection, data analysis and report generation
- Define processes and establish related procedures in support of the panel establishment and capability build
- Be the key point of contact for sensory related activities with internal teams to provide support and related documentations to customers.
- Work in collaboration with internal clients to prepare samples, questionnaires and run sensory tests.
- Responsible of metrology of all pilot plant instrumentations: analytical, pilot plant production, sensory.
- Provide technical advice to others within specialty.
- Continuous maintenance of documentation related to sensory.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English and local language.
- Solid working knowledge of basic laboratory instrument.
- Experience in sensory methods and panel recruitment.
- Experience in food industry.
- Basic statistical analysis skill and moderation skill
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sensory discipline.
