Job Purpose and Impact

The supply chain project manager will focus on business projects to support long-term supply chain strategies and business goals. We seek a professional to help set and monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. The scope of the projects would be multi-country, multi-functional areas and multiple businesses (i.e. Cocoa and Chocolate) including organizational redesign, change management, and process improvements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Use substantial knowledge of supply chain practices and procedures to navigate through data and technology challenges, upgrades and changes.
  • Execute and implement complex projects and process improvements to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Monitor processes and ensure best practices are shared among locations.
  • Apply strong stakeholder management using strong influencing skills both upwards, downwards and laterally in the organization. Take the lead in project control and in resolving issues, collaborating with project sponsors as needed.
  • Model global supply chain flows and apply optimization techniques
  • Operate as the key contact point to help build models for network design and optimization work.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of experience managing complex business operations and supply chain projects
  • Experience in analyzing large amounts of data and developing complex tools.
  • Deep understanding and application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards around continuous business process improvements and portfolio/project management
  • Expert in managing multiple concurrent improvement projects while understanding and successfully solving business problems in a customer-focused, consensus-driven environment
  • Deep understanding of organizational change management
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related field and Six years of related experience with PMP certification
  • Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards around project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team of individuals by demonstrating people management skills in the areas of coaching, feedback and development.
  • Deep understanding of organizational change management. 
  • Experience with supply chain network modelling and optimization tools such as Llamasoft.
