Job Purpose and Impact

The Transportation and Logistics Clerk, will provide administrative assistance to the team that coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations. In this role, you will, under regular direct oversight, receive documentation and data and perform the most basic clerical data entry into commonly used systems.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare reports from existing data using preformatted system generated reporting tools, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties to support the shipping process.
  • Perform schedule preparation and dispatch duties through the creation of the plan and direction of the activity of carriers or equipment.
  • Acquire basic skills to perform routine tasks.
  • Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
