Blast Puller is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. Examples of roles within this position are unloading trucks and scanning in loads, placing and removing pallets from blast racks, placing pallets in storage rooms, cycle count warehouse storage rooms, be trained in fall protection policy and be able to perform elevated work, de-divide pallets (removal of dividers from pallets), changing batteries on PIT. Handle these and all other assignments while maintaining food safety within a safe work environment.
While performing the duties of Blast Puller, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced cold environment (0 degrees to -35 degrees F) for extended periods of time. Position requires standing throughout the shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.
