Job Purpose and Impact
The Aquaculture Technology Specialist will be a member of the global Smart Farming technology team. In this role, you will develop new technologies and digital solutions and help the company grow by contributing to multiple cross country digital product developments and implementations.
Location of position: Ecuador.

Key Accountabilities
- Perform continuous market scan to learn about new entrants, tech start ups and competitor moves in aquaculture sector.
- Contribute to exploration of new technology and digital business models for aquaculture portfolio.
- Gain customer insights for ideas to existing and new technology products and solutions.
- Contribute to building business cases and requirements for new technology product development and execute digital/technology application projects, including minimum viable product, proof of concept and user acceptance testing ultimate implementation.
- Support projects by engaging our local process data technology and digital team and functions for requirements definition, development, roll out and implementation.
- Define technical, data, legal, business requirements for new digital solutions that align with business process organization on necessary process changes.
- Contribute to communication, go to market and the monetization strategy and measure and analyze adoption, utilization and feedback.
- Prepare and coordinate product introductions and updates.
- Coordinate program planning with customers to identify manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs and similar considerations.
- Plan, organize and coordinate assigned programs to accomplish financial and budgetary goals.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High interest in technology transformation and digital products.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Technology integration experience
