Job Purpose and Impact

The Operational Formulation Application Architect will design and integrate solutions and partner with technical teams to implement target architecture. In this role, you will govern solution integration from a design and business process standpoint and identify and resolve functional risks. You will assess business cases based on constraints of scope, time, or other variables. You will partner with internal stakeholders to execute a strategy that improves regulatory compliance, meets business requirements, and drives efficiencies through standardization and innovation.

Key Accountabilities

• Recommend and implement improvements to feed operational formulation architecture, processes and designs based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations and technology capabilities.
• Develop solutions that incorporate the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
• Conduct solution assessments to define items that transcend functional and organizational boundaries identify. Solution external interactions with the system, partnering information technology and the governance committee to resolve identified and detailed variances to business requirements.
• Support providing a multifunctional business case to help define business requirements for new initiatives.
• Identify integration opportunities for feed operational formulation management applications and other applicable interdependent technology assets to maximize their capabilities.
• Drive cross functional process alignment and decision making aligned with business and domain process owners to align feed operational formulation solutions to future state cloud operational formulation architecture.
• Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience 
• Minimum of six years of related work experience
• Confirmed technical background including business management software and business intelligence technologies
• Experience working across multiple lines of business and information technology function
• Experience with technology implementations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with relevant feed operational formulation management software modules
• Extensive experience with core, strategic line of business processes
• Experience using cross functional business and functional technical expertise including administration, supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, finance, or customer resource management
• Experience with Format Solutions tools, architecture and language for BILLS, BRILLS, Feed Mill Manager application services and Century tools, architecture, and language for Indigo product lines
• Experience with feed formulation business processes or business/industry technologies
• Experience working cross functionally across multiple lines of businesses specific to how the feed activities within each business are enabled
