Job Purpose and Impact

The Additives Global Pricing Lead will define and implement the Global Additives business product portfolio strategic pricing process. You will partner with commercial leaders to harmonize the Diamond V, Delacon and CAN Promote Additives product portfolios strategic pricing per channel and segment. In this role, you will devise and drive the profitability strategies and strategic pricing initiatives to ensure business growth with optimum value capture. You will provide thought leadership and build consensus and influence leaders to adapt to best practices and continuously improve the commercial strategic pricing capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and implement the Global Additives Business pricing strategy, harmonizing Delacon, Diamond and CAN Promote Additives pricing approach in collaboration with Commercial and SMT leaders: define value based pricing per product, harmonize pricing per segment (end user, distributor, CAN, Feed Miller segment..)
  • Define and implement the system that will provide target pricing ranges to Additives commercial leaders, and the approval process and system to request additional discounts. Lead the implementation in SAP
  • Define and implement the process for Cost into pricing and market price revisions
  • Collaborate with SMT category managers to define value based strategic pricing for New products 
  • Lead and influence cross functional teams to adopt and follow through on initiatives aimed at driving profitability and advise business leadership by coaching and providing support on commercial and strategic pricing matters.
  • Provide training and mentorship to professionals across the organization in strategic pricing and commercial excellence best practices using in person and digital training.
  • You will provide expert consultative guidance for and initiate strategic long-range goals and objectives. You may provide direction to lower-level team members and be a key contributor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Consistent record prioritizing, selecting and deploying pricing technology

  • Confirmed experience developing and executing strategy

  • Ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across a broad range of organizational levels internally and externally

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of business administration or other post-secondary degree

  • Advanced request for proposal and negotiation team skills

  • Advanced skills in economic value analysis

  • Advanced practical knowledge and application of strategic pricing including business to business, business to distributor to customer and consumer product goods

  • Experience with project management principles including planning, budgeting, scheduling and gate review process

  • Experience using both qualitative and quantitative data to influence or support strategic business decisions

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pricing, revenue or commercial management or trading and business development
