JOB TITLE: North America CoE Lead
LOCATION: 9350 Excelsior Boulevard, Hopkins, MN 55343
JOB DUTIES: Develop quantitative financial products to inform the group about all cash management, funding, investment, accounting activity, and risk management. Investigate methods for financial analysis and create mathematical models used to develop improved analytical tools or advanced financial instruments. Use and deployment of the global environment of WallStreet Suite (WSS), a leading, modular treasury system. Participate, lead and manage projects: including managing procedural and system changes, participating in full system deployments, driving system optimization and ‘Straight Thru Processing concepts, ensuring all changes are fully documented and working with business users to define and validate business requests for enhancements and changes. Provide direction to the CoE team in the NA region: including motivating, training and appraising staff to maximize staff potential and engagement, fulfill team’s responsibilities and meet team’s goals. Train CoE and system users: including attending training course and user conferences, review and manage team’s knowledge and skills and address deficiencies and ensure Performance management and individual development plans are prepared and executed for all employees. Control and monitor workflow and system usage: Use BI tools to develop reporting capabilities, create and implement controls to handle errors and police adherence to standard processes, work with the CoE leadership team to develop metrics around KPIs and liaise with regional peers to ensure global consistency in system use. Support the business users of managed systems: including defining, implementing and policing data standards, oversee review and execution of testing of system hot-fixes and provide daily support to users of WSS. Partner with internal and external groups and vendors. Document processes, policies, training and project related requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Banking and 10 years’ experience working in a multi-national company, including 5 years’ experience in a treasury department with trading, settlements, cash management, and finance or project role and 10 years’ experience is required and must include: In-depth knowledge of WSS including all modules (TRM, CMM, ACM, SDM and Security Centre) and ability to explain the flow of trades and cash through the modules and experience of the configuration required to support the use of a modular system; Deploying WSS, gathered through participating in a multi-country deployment of the system, with integrations to other Treasury systems, ERPs and the banking networks (preferably via SWIFT). Participation to include an active role in the Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Hypercare phases of the project; Business experience of working in the Treasury department of a multi-national company comprising multiple product lines/business units while understanding the concept of a complex in-House Bank structure; Reengineering processes to increase controls or reduce costs, including proposing, defining and implementing system changes to facilitate the changes; Setting up a support team for a global system, including the definition, documentation and implementation of a RASCI model, General Computing Controls (GCC) controls, change management processes and Security access; Requires WSS User Certification. 10% Travel Required.
