Principal Accountabilities


•    Performing facility operations such as loading and unloading trucks/barge/vessels/rail
•    cars, filling/reclaiming grain ground piles, and various other grain handling tasks.
•    Basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
•    Providing excellent customer service and engaging with team members
•    Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
•    Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
•    Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the
•    facility
•    Document all completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer
•    software as necessary
•    Install, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair various components and systems including,
•    hydraulic & pneumatic systems, screw, belt and roller conveyors, gear reducers, and
•    bearings
•    Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, pneumatic
•    tools, electric tools, etc.
•    Comprehend (mechanical/electrical) schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals
•    Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
•    Maintain a safe work environment through cleanliness and housekeeping
•    Other basic facility operations duties as assigned, including consistently meeting grain movement needs as required (example: truck unloading/barge loading)

Requirements:

•    Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
•    Must be 18 years or older.
•    Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, may be required to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
•    Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
•    Basic use of a computer
•    Must be able to work in various weather, industrial and agricultural settings
•    Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
•    Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice


Preferred Qualifications:

•    Basic Mechanical Aptitude
•    High School diploma/GED or equivalent knowledge
•    Prior experience troubleshooting and maintaining various components and systems including hydraulic & pneumatic systems and/or screw, belt and roller conveyors and/or pumps, gear reducers, and bearings
•    SAP or CMMS experience (Computer Maintenance Management System)
•    Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician (CMRT) or willingness to obtain certification
•    Predictive Maintenance and/or Precision Maintenance Experience
•    Minimum of 5 years maintenance/millwright experience and fabrication experience


Compensation: $19.00/hr or more depending on experience.
