Job Purpose and Impact

The Material Planner/Coordinator will plan, schedules and handle MRO, ingredients, and packaging materials needed for production. In this role, you will handle moderately complex material movement with purchasing, warehouse and
production areas and handle to established material inventory target level.

Key Accountabilities

  • Participate in setting material requirements planning metrics targets.
  • Create and publish a material requirements plan based on the published master supply plan.
  • Provide necessary input to master planner for assigned product or location.
  • Maintain data relevant to material requirements planning activities including sourcing and replenishment, supplier, planning calendar, material and location data.
  • Responsible for helping source and assure supply of packaging, ingredient, and MRO spare parts and services for a production plant, which includes purchasing, receipts, inventory management, and following up on any open/past due orders and assist resolving payment issues.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of SAP experience.
  • Strong purchasing and planning skills.
  • Strong inventory management skills with attention to detail and well organized.

Position Information

  • Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
  • This is an onsite job at our Butler, WI plant office.
  • The work schedule is day shift Monday to Friday.
