This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Freight Sourcing Coordinator III will perform complex activities that ensure efficient transportation of materials and products from origin to destination. In this role, you will participate in the identification and selection of the most appropriate and cost effective transportation.
Work in hybrid system, 2-3 days in our Warsaw office.
Key Accountabilities
- Control and track the transport of critical materials.
- Apply a meaningful comprehension of transportation and logistics practices and procedures to assist in the negotiation of freight prices and contract terms for customers.
- Update transportation websites and maintain databases for contracts, freight rates and estimates, insurance and customer information, and prepare reports, presentations, dashboards.
- Independently analyze current transportation operations practices to resolve process and cost improvement opportunities.
- Structure and maintain the internal and external container performance management program, key performance indicators and vendor segmentation, to perform activities, such as development and maintenance of container freight prediction and optimization models, to bring value.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and data visualization applications
- Strong proficiency working with data in multiple systems
- Experience with programming and optimization tools
- Experience in transportation and logistics
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Good knowledge of supply chain and operational functions
- Knowledge of transportation management systems
- Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems
- Container industry knowledge
