PM&S Buyer
Job Purpose and Impact
The Buyer will support multiple countries or multiple business sourcing activities within Plant Material & Services category. In this role, you will execute complex sourcing and procurement tasks including managing end-to-end procurement activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute medium and highly complex sourcing & procurement events.
- Self-initiated mindset & activities to find opportunities and drive the implementation within Malaysia Indonesia countries (better cost, better services, better terms and better value for Cargill)
- Drive the implementation of global/regional sourcing decisions that is relevant for SEA subregion
- Provide inputs & supports to the regional/subregional category team for category strategy development and execution that is relevant for SEA subregion.
- Provide comprehensive understanding of business/countries stakeholders and procurement landscape.
- Supplier Relationship Management: monitoring & managing supplier’ performance and aim for a continuous improvement mindset and stakeholder relationships.
- Follow established procurement policy & procedures for procuring materials, goods, services & supplies to select suppliers for procurement of noncontracted materials, goods, services and supplies.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, preferably with technical/engineering education background
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
