Job Purpose and Impact

  • The Sustainability Solutions Global Advisor - Livestock job performs highly complex activities to run and maintain commercially orientated systems by leading the design and implementation of new processes and tools to support commercial enablement  in a manner that delivers on our purpose to nourish the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way. As a recognized subject matter expert, this job provides thought leadership and mentorship in environmental outcome development activities to ensure the successful execution of a comprehensive commercial environmental outcome sustainability product and service  solutions. This role leads collaboration of the Sustainability Solutions team with internal and customer facing teams  to ensure needs and concerns are addressed in the development and delivery of commercial environmental outcomes sustainability solutions related to livestock.

Key Accountabilities

  • STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION: Leads the implementation of environmental outcome commercial sustainability strategies set forth by senior management by providing guidance in strategic business development activities to ensure a successful execution of environmental outcome sustainability solutions.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Develops partnerships with internal and customer facing teams, third-party partners and  other external partners to advance and promote the adoption of robust environmental outcome sustainability frameworks and initiatives that drive positive environmental, social, and economic impact.
  • RECOMMENDATIONS & INSIGHTS: Reviews insights and recommendations to influence the initiatives, taking into consideration market driven needs, and works with multi-functional teams to support the development of innovative products, services, and solutions to drive sustainability.
  • INDUSTRY EXPERTISE: Provides expert knowledge and stays up-to-date with emerging trends, regulations, and standard methodologies to ensure that the organization remains in compliance with regulations and to integrate environmental outcome sustainability methodologies into the overall business strategy.
  • VALUE PROPOSITION DEVELOPMENT: Supervises strategic activities that leverage customer feedback to improve product offerings, define the commercial environmental outcome sustainability value proposition, and drive successful sustainability solution product management.#LI-Remote  #LI-BT2 #TheMuse #FGB

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Experience designing or implementing sustainability programs
  • Minimum requirement of 5 years of experience engaging and influencing stakeholders across global functions, suppliers, and external business partners in a global environment
  • Direct professional experience applying ESG frameworks, Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) standards, and sustainability impact metrics in a business environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing sustainability programs related to the beef supply chain, animal nutrition or animal agriculture
  • Experience successfully leading projects or initiatives in complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environments

The expected salary for this position is $134,000 - $197,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law
