Supply Planner

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply Planner will help coordinate short- to mid- term supply chain strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate cross functional work teams to meet high customer service standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Create requirements plan and short to mid
term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle. - Assist in setting inventory planning metrics targets.
- Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.
- Help generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.
- Handle basic issues and problems with limited supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Out of office service is part of the role
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Technical knowledge - ERP TC2 system knowledge / Excel skills (pivots, vlookup, linking excel files) / Experience with Power BI scripting and/or advanced analytical reporting
- Supply planning, production planning, or a related supply chain role experience, Proven track record of managing short-term planning cycles and working closely with operations teams
- Additional languages are a plus
