Principal Accountabilities
- Setup, changeover, and teardown of machines
- Read run sheets and utilize machines to produce product to customer specifications
- Accurately record machine efficiency and up time
- Communicate with production employees, leads, and supervisors
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Accurately complete other Formax related paperwork
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
- Set-up of equipment/work station
- Be able to operate a pallet-jack
- Be able to learn and perform LOTO
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read and comprehend manuals and SOP's
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, have strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Experience with the use of and measuring of instruments/precision tools, fasteners, piping/fittings & valves, cutting and welding, packing/sealing/gasket products, air/steam traps, rotating shaft components, filtering media and rigging
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts and extended shifts, including week-ends, holidays and on-call, the ability work outside in all types of weather, climb ladders and work from heights, and the ability to work in a potentially physically strenuous environment
Preferred Qualifications
- AA or 2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance Mechanics
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrate computer skills including data entry and data retrieval
