Key Account Merchant
Job Purpose and Impact
The Key Account Merchant, will sell directly to consumers or business purchasers or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will help identify and contact prospective customers, build relationships to generate future sales and repeat business, participate in assessing the customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Help support business growth by disseminating information that favorably promotes the organization and its products and services.
- Help monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
- Collaborate with senior staff to prepare strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers.
- Participate in development and delivery of sales bids, presentations and proposals and conducting product demonstrations.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
