Principal Accountabilities

  • Conduct hands-on training for machine operators within the Ground Beef Department based on supervisor requests, ensuring proper operation and adherence to safety protocols
  • Respond to reactive maintenance calls throughout the plant and follow up to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and complete necessary follow-up repairs to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Carry out daily line assignments by reviewing PM schedules and inspecting assigned lines within the designated department
  • Support additional duties as assigned, including providing maintenance assistance across the entire facility when needed

Required Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment
  • At least one year of experience using hand tools such as drill press, hand drill, wrenches, threading machines, etc
  • At least two years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Industrial Electricity I, II, and III
  • Certification in Motor Controls
  • Experience troubleshooting with PLC’s
  • Working knowledge of fluid power, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Previous experience with Precision Maintenance
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • One year of experience TIG Welding
  • Building Trades (Drywall repair, spackling, Plumbing
  • Ammonia refrigeration experience
  • Ammonia certifications
