Compensation: $21.09/hr
Shift Differential: $0.75/hr
Job Overview
The Warehouse Technician II supports warehouse operations by independently moving, storing, and preparing materials and finished products using established warehouse processes and equipment. This role applies prior warehouse experience, uses judgment to handle routine issues, and operates a wider range of equipment with regular guidance to support safe and efficient operations.
What You Will Do
- Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials with limited direction.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify shipments by checking quantities, labels, and documentation and resolve routine issues as they arise.
- Load and unload trucks, racks, and production lines while performing basic quality and damage checks.
- Use warehouse systems or paperwork to accurately track inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions.
- Follow all safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean work environment.
- Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).
- At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat, cold, dust, and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights (4 feet and above), with or without reasonable accommodation.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience operating forklifts in high‑traffic or high‑rack warehouse environments.
- Experience using warehouse systems, scanners, or inventory management tools.
- Ability to use judgment to resolve shipping, inventory, or material handling issues.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and material handling standards.
