MSC Finance Senior Analyst, ANH - Thailand
Job Purpose and Impact
The MSC Finance Senior Analyst will assume a critical role in driving financial excellence within the Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) function. This position requires a seasoned finance professional to provide advanced financial analysis, strategic insights, and decision support to optimize MSC's financial performance.
This position serves as the Finance business partner for MSC, overseeing all financial activities related to MSC. This role includes managing MFC, Capex, Logistic Costs, Inventory management etc.
Key Accountabilities
1. Strategic Planning:
• Develop, align, and maintain MSC financial metrics in collaboration with leadership to support business strategy.
• Conduct external benchmarking to inform and enhance MSC strategic planning.
• Quantify and establish targets for long-term MSC financial objectives.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve value management and reduce costs.
2. Capital Investment:
• Review and analyze MSC capital portfolio performance against business expectations.
• Identify and recommend changes required to align capex/commitment requirements with evolving business strategies.
• Provide financial expertise for inventory optimization analysis and asset/network optimization opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth capital project studies and evaluate project performance.
3. Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting:
• Collect, analyze, and consolidate budgeting and forecasting data for COGS inventory, base capital, MSC SG&A, and depreciation.
• Update and enhance forecast models and assumptions for IBP cost, inventory, and base capital.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, commentary, and scenario analysis for COGS.
• Conduct detailed ad-hoc variance and scenario analysis, including zero-based budgeting initiatives.
4. Management Reporting:
• Align key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial reporting/dashboards related to MSC performance.
• Prepare and publish insightful MSC performance management materials, including commentary and key insights.
• Conduct thorough variance analysis, evaluating COSG cost performance and providing actionable recommendations.
• Perform internal and external competitor benchmarking analysis.
• Generate ad-hoc analysis as needed for performance measurement and operational and supply chain insights.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10years+ working experience prefered with Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a financial analyst, preferably in a senior or lead capacity within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, financial planning software, and ERP systems.
