Cargill is committed to strengthening communities in the Philippines through partnerships that support food security, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship. The company has invested $1.7 million in initiatives that drive long-term growth, including the Agri-Sagana Project, which supports 8,000 corn farmers and 40,000 community members with training, improved market access, and eco-friendly post-harvest facilities. Through the Rise Coco Project in Bohol, Cargill is helping 1,500 coconut farmers rehabilitate typhoon-affected land, adopt sustainable practices, and build cooperative networks. Beyond agriculture, the Digital School Library Project in Batangas expands access to online learning for students and local residents, demonstrating Cargill’s commitment to empowering farmers, enhancing livelihoods, and building resilient communities across the country.

As part of this commitment, Cargill has partnered with Jollibee Foods Corporation through a joint venture poultry processing facility that supports the growing demand for high-quality, locally produced food. More recently, we launched Tip-Top, a route-to-market initiative that helps bring fresh, nutritious, high-quality poultry products closer to Filipino families.
