Job Purpose and Impact

The Construction Project Engineer will oversee and handle the operational aspects of ongoing projects and will serve as a liaison among project management and planning, project team and line management. In this role, you will provide strategic vision, reviewing the project proposal to resolve time frame, funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing the project. Majority of projects are at the processing plant.

Location: Słupca, near Poznań


Work full on site (5 days per week)

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
  • Adhere to internal and external quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
  • Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and resolve resource requirements.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience in food/pharmaceutical/ agriculture or FMCG environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Communication in English and Polish language. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
  • Experience in setting priorities for brownfield projects.
  • Experience in project management from beginning to the end, including crucial stages.
  • Experience in cooperation with contractors and engineering services providers.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Work in proactive, creative and enthusiastic.
  • Able to work independence.
  • Additional availability in case of urgent operational needs.
