Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply Chain Coordinator Trains/Barges in Nantes mainly handles all contract execution activities for multiple product lines (rape, sun, grains) especially for Train flows and also Barges flows during holiday periods.
He/She has daily interactions with Planning and Transportation department and organize the loading schedule in cooperation with suppliers.
Key Accountabilities
Contracts execution and monitoring of daily shipment:
- Prepare the transport plan in accordance with contracts position, resources and plants constraints
- Monitor shipment on a daily basis, follow up the smooth completion and take action if needed
- Handle back to back execution
Customer interaction / business partnership:
- Interact with customers, suppliers, service providers for activities related to loading, unloading, execution of contracts, visiting customers/suppliers
- Communicate with Commercial, Planning, Quality, Transportation functions to manage planning of execution and identify cost effective alternatives/options
Performance management / research & analysis:
- Follow up and contribute to improve Metrics
- Optimization of costs
- Data analysis, produce statistics
Qualifications
- With a degree in Business or Logistics, you are able to work quickly in a diversified and complex but stimulating environment.
- You have strong communication skills and team spirit.
- You have strong data analytic mindset and are able to manage/evaluate large amounts of data.
- You are fluent in written and spoken French and English and have good IT skills : MS Office, Excel, SAP is a plus
