Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Account Lead - Cotton will prospect and develop complex offerings to meet the customer's needs and risk profile. In this role, you will execute risk management strategies on behalf of the select customers for positioning the commodity supply chain in the assigned markets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with account manager and corporate risk management contacts to provide consistent communication to customers on risk positions, market bias, targets, coverage versus plan and strategy.
  • Collaborate to market the complex risk service offerings of market insights, hedging solutions and active hedging strategies in the physical supply chain and execute within the individual trading strategies that align with customer and the company's trading bias to handle customer risk positions.
  • Participate to develop joint strategies and explore and support the development of a regulated pathway to implement innovative and compelling offerings to existing and select outside supply chain customers.
  • Partner with trading desk to utilize futures, options and risk management products to meet customer budgets, benchmarks or targets and leverage risk management infrastructure, intellectual property and strategic advantage to handle price risk for customers.
  • Monitor Cotton market to review activity and participate to make recommendations to the commercial team to maximize profit returns and minimize risk and also keep market positions within the established limits.
  • Ensure proper execution of the physical contracts with the customers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
