Job Purpose and Impact
The Executive Protection Specialist, under the direction of Global Security leadership, will collaborate across Cargill’s businesses and functions as well as partner with third-party vendors to identify and mitigate physical security risks. In this role, you will play a critical role in the development and performance of Cargill’s protective services program.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate across Cargill’s enterprises, businesses, and functions as well as third-party vendors to identify and mitigate physical security risks that may impact Cargill’s senior leaders.
- Implement and continuously evaluate and evolve trip, event, and other executive security program governance.
- Provide regular on-site security support in furtherance of executive team member travel.
- Conduct security risk assessments and routinely brief findings and considerations to Cargill’s senior leadership.
- Lead third-party vendor management through the development of requirements that ensure vendor compliance with contract commitments and Global Security program expectations.
- Benchmark to design and deliver industry-leading protective services solutions.
- Independently handle issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Ability to travel globally up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement experience in an executive protection role
- Active Transportation Security Administration Armed Security Officer certification

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
The expected salary for this position is $120,000-$140,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
