Job Purpose and Impact
The Poultry Micronutrition and Health Technical Lead will coordinate, align and innovate by exploring, developing and implementing new and existing products. In this role, you will tackle ambiguous problems and provide technical expertise to develop new products and production processes. You will help the product line evolve and develop technology and processes to create new capabilities and implement solutions to meet business goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with customers to identify jobs to be completed and apply learnings to product development, building customer relationships through sharing technical expertise to grow value added sales.
- Provide technical leadership in product and process development and improvement, quality systems, training, and regulatory oversight.
- Contribute to the development and direct the implementation of innovation roadmaps and plans aligned with the business objectives.
- Define Micronutrition and Health strategy into actionable implementation with commercial leadership.
- Support commercial team as customer facing key opinion leader on the Micronutrition and Health space by developing technical content, marketing assets and pathways for customer problem solving
- Collaborate with research and commercial brand to develop short and long term testing programs for experimental and commercial products and hybrids.
- Partner with sales, business management, marketing and customers to identify needs and translate these into new product development opportunities and solutions, from product inception through commercialization.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
- Provide applied science leadership in gut health and microbiome innovation, driving impactful solutions across the business.
- Champion and advance sustainability initiatives within the ANH Poultry North America market
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- DVM or PhD
- Experience collaborating with customers to identify and create innovative solutions
- Experience leading and working in cross-functional teams
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience (can include experience gained in academia)
- Able to travel 60% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's of Avian Medicine
- ACPV certification
- Experience with meat bird and/or layer additive technology
- 5+ years of US experience in academic (University faculty or Research Organization lead) or industry (Broiler/Turkey/layer production or allied tech service experience preferred)
- Expertise on gut health and sustainability
- Experience with postbiotics and Phytogenics or similar feed additives/health technologies
- Involvement in PSA, AAAP, and other professional organizations and academic institutions related to poultry
Position Information
Location: This position is open to a remote home office in the US. Southeast US preferred.

The expected salary for this position is $165,000 - $195,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
