Job Purpose and Impact
The Carpenter will perform moderately complex work with wood and other materials to build and repair structures and other items, with regular guidance. In this role, you will undertake remodeling, alteration, maintenance and construction of buildings, amenities and other property in accordance with codes and ordinances, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment by following all safety and regulatory polices.

Important Notice Regarding Labor Dispute

Key Accountabilities
- Build, maintain, repair and perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on wooden structures and equipment
- Participate in carpentry projects such as building and repairing (complete from framing, roofing, to interior finishing), fences, decking, ramps, flooring, platforms, and painting
- Projects include planning, ordering materials, and completion of work in a timely manner
- Building and maintaining salt boxes, pond gates, and pond walls
- Building and installing cabinetry, and some interior remodeling, as well as some cement work
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Minimum of 2 years of carpentry as a framing carpenter with the skills and abilities to: Operate and maintain power and hand tools
- Experience Reading and understanding drawings and blueprints
- Basic Math skills
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in manufacturing setting
