Manufacturing Excellence Lead CASC Asia Pacific
Job Purpose and Impact
The Manufacturing Excellence Director will provide leadership governance and delivery support of services across multiple functional technology engineering areas for multiple business units. In this role, you will provide strategic vision and foster strong partnerships with manufacturing excellence subject matter experts to develop the strategy to apply leading practices for continuous improvement and tools to maximize the efficiency of the manufacturing processes to reduce cost and increase capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop the tactical strategy and provide delivery oversight of the operational direction and vision.
- Define and maintain strategic partnerships with customers to develop deep knowledge of the manufacturing setting.
- Develop preventive approaches for meeting efficiency standards.
- Lead and advise production and engineering managers in reliability excellence and production excellence implementation.
- Develop the strategy for identifying, monitoring and applying leading practices to grow engineering technology applications.
- Develop standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance and ensure the standards are applied in production.
- Develop and execute new methodologies across multiple plants, and platforms.
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering and technology discipline knowledge
- Capital and operational excellence knowledge
- Experience in the application of lean six sigma concepts and principles
- Reliability and asset management experience
