Job Purpose and Impact

Location: Worksop S80 2RS

Cargill’s global cocoa and chocolate business connects our deep cocoa knowledge with our broad food ingredient expertise, managing the supply chain from sourcing the beans at origin up to delivering our cocoa and chocolate products to our customers in the confectionery, biscuit, bakery and dairy industries.

With a number of CAPEX and OPEX projects underway and in the pipeline, this is an exciting opportunity to join a team of professional engineers and colleagues to participate in the preparation and execution of investment projects. This will entail the management and coordination of the engineering, construction and process activities to assist with start-ups in cooperation with other technical departments.

Key Accountabilities


•    Prepare commitments/estimates for approval together with Production, Maintenance, Centres of Excellence, Environmental Health and Safety and other departments including but not limited to; mass, utility balance, layout proposal, process       preparation and calculations 
•    Organising and contribution to Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and safe design 
•    Prepare project schedules and construction (safety) plans for projects
•    Assisting with; budget monitoring, organise and participate in project meetings and support any change management processes
•    Co-ordination of commissioning and installation activities 
•    Ensure contractor coordination, ensure safe work at all times 
•    Other duties as assigned 


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering 
•    Project engineering / process improvement experience with exposure to delivering small to medium sized CAPEX projects, in a safe, in budget and time efficient manner 
•    Experience from manufacturing ideally in Food or similar 
•    Able to manage multiple stakeholders, influence others, collaborate with multi-disciplined teams and clearly give project updates and use project tracking tools
