Job Purpose and Impact

The Sales Manager will contribute to increasing sales and revenue from dietary supplement and functional food market segments and channels. In this role, you will help shape business expansion strategies and provide input into the company's annual business development plans to reach objectives and revenue for specialty ingredient EpiCor and future specialty human health ingredients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Pursue new market segments and opportunities for business development, calculating return and investment.
  • Independently solve moderately complex sales issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Ability to close sales projects as quickly as possible given longer sales cycles.
  • Collaborate with account managers to understand business requirements and market needs.
  • Monitor market development activities to align with company business goals.
  • With guidance, prioritize market segment development activities and set revenue targets.


Job Information


The expected salary range for this position is $67,000 - $90,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.


Full-Time (30+ hours) positions are eligible for a benefit package including the following (subject to certain collective bargaining agreements for Union positions): Paid time off; paid holidays; medical, vision and dental coverage; flexible spending accounts; life insurance; disability insurance; retirement savings; employee and family assistance program (EAP)


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Proficient with MS Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT, etc).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in natural products, functional foods, or dietary supplements.
  • Business to business natural specialty ingredient sales experience.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce).
  • Experience working in cross-functional environment across multiple departments

  • This position is Remote within the US. Northeastern United States region preferred for physical location.
