Job Purpose and Impact
The Director of Engineering is responsible for Reliability Excellence, Capital Excellence, Manufacturing Technology within Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain North America. We seek a seasoned professional who will provide strategic vision, process governance, deployment delivery and capability build aligned with the business strategy needs. In this role you will align with our regional teams to deploy and execute agreed upon strategies and initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Advise, consult and provide overall governance and delivery support on asset health strategy (e.g. asset criticality, maintenance strategies, health reporting) and corporate maintenance and reliability practices.
Drive manufacturing technology alignment across all facilities.
Provide overall oversight and direct accountability for meeting group/business/plants overall standards for safety, quality and operational effectiveness and financial performance.

Provide governance to our project pipeline/portfolio and ensure capital is invested strategically and following the enterprise strategy.
Lead the deployment of our corporate maintenance and engineering, automation, electrical and instrumentation standards and strategy.
Partner with regional leaders to ensure capability build for reliability, capital excellence and manufacturing technology is aligned with the strategic needs of our business.
Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels of the organization
