The Regional Reliability Excellence Project Engineer will plan, support, and where applicable, execute engineering deliverables for one or more of our broad core technology or engineering areas for capital projects in our Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers North America Region. We seek a professional who will help develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Plan, design and estimate time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems and components.
  • Execute or manage new equipment inspections
  • Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures.
  • Design and improve manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.
  • Provide and participate in training for completed projects
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 40%)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read, update and design from schematics and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification. 
  • Experience with predictive technologies (MCA, vibration, infrared, ultrasound, machinery lubrication). 
  • Experience with capital project management and support, specifically with reliability deliverables
